How silly of me to think that we had seen the last of Kimball's dental school acceptance letters. When you are applying to grad school, medical school or dental school, as many of you know, it is quite the guessing game. You want to apply to enough schools that you'll have a fighting chance to get in yet not so many that you start to waste your time and money. And then when you finally get in to a couple good/great options and are wait-listed at your first choice school you disregard that wait list and just thank the heavens that we got in somewhere. But low and behold, the heavens opened up and in the most feminine of male voices said, "Kimball Burton, congratulations, you have been accepted to University of California San Francisco School of Dentistry". And that is final. We leave in 1 month and are so grateful that we get to have the luxury of only having to drive 13 hours to come see our families versus the 36 it would have taken to get to Virginia. Not to mention the direct flights from San Francisco to Idaho Falls! This was meant to be!
